Shake, shake, shake… shake your booty! Season 73 ended with an energy-driven concert by 1970’s super group KC and the Sunshine Band. The evening started off on a mellow note with KC reflecting back on his 50 years in the music industry. The music of Motown had a significant impact on KC as he was beginning his music career as a songwriter. The evening didn’t remain on a mellow note though! Within no time the band had the audience on its feet and clapping their hands.
Through the generosity of our underwriters, Knox is able to bring fabulous LIVE musice to audiences season after season.

Silent Auction Benefits the Arts
During the KC and the Sunshine Band concert on March 16, a silent auction was held during which guests bid on a Fender Stratocaster guitar signed by Don Felder, murals created by the ArtRAGEous troupe during their live performance, and a signed KC and the Sunshine Band poster. The guitar netted $2,000, and the posters netted $370. All proceeds will benefit Knox Concert Series, a not-for-profit 501(c)3.
