State of the Art acoustics and sweeping, uninterrupted views of the stage guarantee that guests enjoy the very best in performing arts experiences at The Anniston Performing Arts Center.

Visiting musicians often remark on the acoustic of the hall. The hall was built to acoustically amplify the voices of the actors of the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, who performed there in the early 1970s. It has been the home of Knox Concert Series since it was constructed in 1971.

The Center is part of the Anniston High School Complex, which was built in 1969. In partnership with the High School, Knox Concert Series has contributed to numerous facility enhancements, most recently the renovation of the artists’ dressing rooms.

Anniston Performing Arts Center is handicap accessible. Special accomodations can be made in advance by contacting Mandi King (256) 235-2553, mandiking@cableone.net.
